a Safe Haven
We welcome you to our website and to our Unitarian and Friends Community! We respect all religious traditions as well as non-religious and secular beliefs. We cherish a modern and liberal spiritual outlook that encourages freedom of individual thought and belief.
Our fellowship provides strength and encouragement for development of spiritual and community connections in daily living.
Who are the Unitarians?
Unitarianism is an open-minded approach to religion, which values each individual's personal journey in faith and spirituality and gives scope for a very wide range of beliefs and doubts.
UK Unitarian TV has recently produced a short film in which members of our congregation explain why they like to come here.
To find out more, please come and see us one Sunday, or call or e-mail us.
This BBC Website information page contains an excellent description of our movement.
Services and Events
We are now meeting for Services on the 1st and 3rd (and 5th) Sundays each month, at 10:30am. We have an alternative spiritual gathering event on the 2nd Sunday, and a structured discussion group on the 4th Sunday. For more information on our services check out our services page.
We also hold various events including musical concerts which we hold at the Meeting House, usually to raise funds for charitable causes. Please contact us if you would like to be added to e-mail list for upcoming musical events or check our events page for more information.
