On 5th of October we will be hosting our second Death Cafe

after the service and sandwich lunch 13:30-15:30

Death Cafes are a global movement whose stated goal is to 'increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion on death with no agenda, objectives or themes.
It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session, so it may not be recommended for the recently bereaved.

Death cafes are held:
- On a not for profit basis (though donations are welcome)
- In an accessible, respectful and confidential space
- With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action
- Alongside refreshing drinks and nourishing food – and cake!
