Services

We are now meeting for Services on the 1st and 3rd (and 5th) Sundays each month, at 10:30am.  We have an alternative spiritual gathering event on the 2nd Sunday, and a structured discussion group on the 4th Sunday.
Sunday Morning

We meet every Sunday at 10.30.  The first and third Sunday services are usually conducted by a Unitarian Minister and the other two are led either by a lay minister or members and friends of the Unitarian Meeting House.

The first and third Sunday service typically consists of music, hymn singing, readings (from both religious and non-religious texts as appropriate to the service, meditation, prayers and an address. Currently, we are without a permanent minister so we have a number of visiting guest ministers leading our worship.

On each 2nd Sunday we often hold a meditative service at 10.30 and on each 4th Sunday we offer a discussion group, called 'Kindle a Flame' which is led by a member of the congregation.  Everyone is welcome, with no need to attend an earlier service.

All forms of Service last around an hour and we meet for coffee, tea and conversation afterwards.

Everyone is welcome, irrespective of creed, age, race, or sexuality; we are a community of open-minded, spiritual explorers and our services are designed to consider life from all possible perspectives.

Please contact us for more information, - or just come along on any Sunday morning.

Children's Chapel

The Children's Chapel is currently suspended. However, if your children are too young for their own group, you are always welcome to bring them to the main Service. For your comfort, and to minimise distraction for others, there is an area near the door with seats for adults, a floor mat for children, as well as books and toys.

We hope to resume our separate Children's Chapel soon, at the same time as Minister led Services. It is anticipated that Children’s Chapel will be led by a trained teacher and follow a programme of activities that encourage them to explore life and community. We do not impose religious beliefs or creeds on the children - rather we encourage them to think for themselves and draw their own conclusions.
