About us

We are based at the Unitarian Meeting House, Westerham Road, Bessels Green, TN13 2PX,  which has been a dissenting presence in the area since the early 18th Century.

Early Unitarians advocated for the idea of a God of love, who offered salvation to all, rejecting the idea of original sin and the divinity of Jesus. Unitarians today hold a wide range of beliefs, recognizing the value of all world faiths and other approaches to spiritual exploration. Many Unitarians consider themselves to be atheists, others meditate regularly or embrace practices from the Buddhist, Christian or Sufi contemplative traditions. What unites us is a sense of respect for the ideals of freedom of religious thought, reason and love and a willingness to explore our spirituality with a sense of openness and respect.

Services take place every Sunday and start at 10.30. Come find out for yourself what we are about!

We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, genders and abilities.

If you require special assistance or if you have any questions feel free to contact us.
